The slipcase is faded and foxed on the top and back sides. Wear and soiling to the sides and edges. Hardbound in full morocco, with all edges gilt and inside dentelles, by Bayntun Binders of Bath, England. Housed in a red slipcase. With marbled endpapers and paste-downs. The volumes are in very good plus to near fine antiquarian condition. The red leather is extremely well preserved with bright gilt embellishments. Light shelf wear.
