pages; illustrations, color plate; brown paper wrapper with fold over flap (8 x 11 1/2 inch), portrait and gilt title on the cover. History of the Dexter Horton Bank of Seattle with a brief business history of early Seattle. Excellent photo essay of the town before 1920 and the expansion of the Bank. The Dexter Horton Bank was merged with several other banks in the 1930s to form Seattle First National Bank and was finally absorbed by Bank of America in 1983 after bad energy investments in the 1970s.
