Lavine, inscription on right front flyleaf reads, "Sandy" killed in action River Mark, Holland November 3, 1944 104th Infantry 413th Regiment Company F "Timberwolves" - Page 109 Page 217." On those 2 mentioned pages are check marks next to Sanford Lavine's name. Page 109 lists Lavine's name under the list "Died in Service."
