Index card SIGNED by the late Sam Lacy, laid in. 1st ed; fine in fine dust jacket (actually, new, but upper right corner bumped). Memoir/autobiography of the Spink Award-winning sportswriter/editor for the "Baltimore Afro-American" newspaper. It was Lacy's efforts, among others, that led the eventual enshrining of deserving Negro League baseball players in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
