A discussion of the findings of the Water Commissioners for the city of Manchester, New Hampshire in their efforts to introduce a reliable source of water for consumption by the residents of the city, as well as in the use of extinguishing fires. This includes a look at various reservoirs, the Merrimack River, costs associated with getting water to the city, etc. GOOD condition, ex-library, with call letters on the upper front cover. Heavy chipping, flaking, tearing and creasing along the fore edge, with some loss of wrapper and paper in this area. Wrappers darkened and soiled, with minor staining. Bookseller Inventory # 009551
