The book's CONDITION: Black leather over boards, with gilt title on front, rubbing to all edges and corners, some soil and scratches. The front cover is completely detatched, the back cover just starting, and though no pages are loose, there are several cracks to the inner hinges. Glued to the front pastedown are three newspaper clippings regarding the death of one of the original pioneers, William K. Black. A name in pencil below the clippings reads " Walt Miland " (or Niland), not listed in the catalogue of members. Endpapers discolored and a frayed lower corner to front free endpaper, plus some overall edge soil and a few small stains to early pages, but the interior is generally free of tears, markings, or other flaws.
