First published in Harper's Magazine, Aug. 1906, under the title: A Call. An amusing story of two boys of Mount Pisgah who attempt to make their first formal social call on the neighboring girls. In Very Good- Condition: spine somewhat faded; old stain at tail of spine and lower edge of front board; cover lightly soiled; 1 leaf of illustration detached but present; light foxing along fore-edge of a few leaves; otherwise clean and tight.
