About the Author:

Alvin Hicks is the author of the Book "Flight of the Rosebud" As a young child, he was raised in a diverse environment filled with racial challenges giving him the choices on how to deal with them at an early age. His father was a Marine corp. Drill instructor on Paris Island, mother a military secretary, and grandparents respected teachers in the area where they lived. Family played an pivotal role in his development having uncles that traveled around the world as entertainers present to him the experiences of cultures on so many levels. His experience in various industries, mostly dealing with people, gave him a wealth of experience in human relationships. From limo driver to mortgage banker, his understanding of people from many walks of life is exceptional. This is what gave him the vision to provide such a sensational story.
