Lacks the "New Edition" statement found on later printings. With numerous illustrations. Rebound by Apollo Book Binding Co., Reading, PA, with their sticker on the rear paste-down. New spine attached to the textblock, with new endsheets and exposed hinging. The book measures 4.5" x 7", 200 pages with 48 additional pages of Chatto & Windus publisher's advertisements. Blue cloth with black and gold illustrations and lettering. Number stamp on front endpaper. The textblock is clean, tight, and bright.
