Inspiration to tear free from the worldly ideals of success to pursue the only dream worth living--a lifetime shaped by the heart of God.
About the Author: TIM DOWDY is senior pastor of Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. Under his leadership, the congregation has grown from 39 members to a church of more than 4000 in the past seventeen years. Pastor Tim relishes his role as a shepherd and teacher of the flock God has entrusted to him. Tim also serves as president of the board of Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, with more than 1300 students. He has a passion for young people and understands what it's like to flounder in fear and uncertainty through those tumultuous years. Tim and his wife, Christie, have one son and live in the greater Atlanta area.
TIM LUKE serves as adult pastor at Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church. He is the co-author of LifeStories, written with fellow staff member Mark Hall of Casting Crowns. Before becoming a pastor, Tim served as editor of In Touch magazine. The former journalist worked as a sportswriter for ten years, the last four covering the Atlanta Braves. His first book was the souvenir book Atlanta Braves: 1995 World Champions. Tim and his wife, Karen, have two sons.
