Some light bumping and scuffing at spine tips and along edges of boards; faint spot of soiling on upper board; prelims foxed, with ownership inkstamp on FFEP and half-title page ("Joytoys"). Dust jacket age-toned and a little waterstained and wrinkled. With a laid-in handwritten note by Henry Miller (unsigned, but certainly his hand), " 'No art ever yet grew by looking into the eyes of the public,' Ezra Pound."
