Title: Four Photographs of Lumbering Scenes in ...

Publisher: Lincoln County, Wisconsin

Binding: No Binding

Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good

Four photographs, two are 6 x 8", others are 6.5 x 8.5", each mounted on a larger board, no place or date, but apparently Lincoln County, Wisconsin, ca. 1890s. One captioned "Crew and teams" shows about 18 horses harnessed together to pull a huge pile of logs, with men posing on the logs and on horses. Another shows the "crew" consisting of 43 men sitting on a pile of logs. The two slightly larger shots are not captioned. Both weretaken in the winter and show the men and horses. Interesting content, though images are a bit murky, lacking in resolution. Edges of mounts are soiled and chipped. Bookseller Inventory # 6811
