DESCRIPTION: Published by Faber and Faber, 1950, eighth impression. 9 x 6 inches, 44 pp. Biscuit/tan colour linen bound boards in unclipped dust jacket showing cost 6s. net. Gilt lettering on the spine. CONDITION: Book is in very good condition, strong joints and hinges and sharp corners. Gutter crack at pages 16-17. Pages are clean and unmarked and light tan colour. Dust jacket has small chips and tears, more so to the top and bottom edges, scuffed on the spine, light rubbing to the front and back and tanned. Happy to answer any questions and send more pictures. ABOUT THIS TITLE:"Four Quartets" is a collection of four interconnected poems by T.S. Eliot, considered one of the major works of modernist poetry. The poems are titled "Burnt Norton," "East Coker," "The Dry Salvages," and "Little Gidding." They were first published together in 1944 by Faber and Faber, the renowned British publishing house.
