32p., 8.5x8.5 inches, introductory essays and biographical sketch, illustrated with 25 b&w plates from the photographer's personal family photos, signed and dated 4/15/82 above a photo of the artist and his wife on Orchard Beach, the Bronx, very good catalog of the exhibition in stapled pictorial wraps. Four generations of this Puerto Rican American family named their sons Benedict Joseph and all kept extensive records of family photographs from the 1880s in Spain, the 1930s in Puerto Rico and beyond in El Barrio, the Bronx. Benedict III whose show this is published photos of American dissent "In Opposition: Images of American Dissent in the Sixties." No copies of this catalog located in OCLC as of 7/2014.
