Synopsis: This book continues the "How to Make Your Child Successful in Math" series and covers all four arithmetical operations with fractions, decimals, and mixed numbers. Furthermore, it shows the student how to combine different kinds of numbers in one calculation - something that American schools neglect in their curriculum.
Like the first book, "Fractions and More" contains many word problems of increasing complexity to prepare the student for solving real-life problems. You can start using this book after your child has mastered the four arithmetical operations with whole numbers. In general, this means that this book is for 4th-6th graders, but you can start earlier if your child is ready. This book can also be used to help older students review material they might have missed.
