An account of the infamous Preparedness Day Bombing in San Francisco in July 1916 in which 10 people died and 40 others were maimed. In the aftermath two radical labor leaders, Tom Mooney and Warren Billings were arrested, tried and convincted of the crime and sentenced to life imprisonment. They were eventually pardoned after it became obvious that perjury and false testimony had occured during their trial. The identity of the real bombers remains unclear to this day.
