About this Item
Black and white photograph of a group of young men and women dressed in turn of the century garb. In a dark brown wooden frame, the entire piece measuring 12.75" x 10.75". A near fine slightly faded print with some light scratches. The presence of baseball equipment and uniform caps indicate that this is a team portrait, though the stylishly dressed women and beer mugs make it clear that the occasion is far more social than athletic. One figure bears the the name "Hans Wagner" on his cap but, sadly, appears not to be *the* Wagner. A handsome and interesting framed image of the times and of the sport. Seller Inventory # 375080
