Add to basketVolume II of the Southwest Historical Series edited by Ralph P. Bieber. Translated by Eugene Bandel's daughter, Olga, and Richard Jente. On inside front paste down is written, "Property of Emilie Bandel Duff" who was most likely Bandel's daughter. His wife's name was also Emilie. Laid in is an advertising piece describing the book and the author with a penciled arrow pointing to the name Olga Bandel. Burgundy cloth boards with gilt lettering on the spine, a couple of small light spots on front board. TEG. Under-cloth line of bubbling along forward edge of spine. Spine cocked. Deckle edges. Very mild bumping/rubbing to spine ends and to corners. Frontispiece has a wet stain. Pages are clean. Fold-out map at back is like new, slightly toned.
