A long-lasting liberal monthly, this particular copy is a contributor's copy, from the library of noted social protest poet and printer JOHN BEECHER (1904-80). Page 17 features one of Beecher's better known poems, "Homage to a Subversive," and "The Literary Frontier" column on the same page features a review of Beecher's work. His wife and printing partner, artist Barbara Beecher (born 1925), pens "Marked Copy / See Pg. 17" boldly in red ballpoint at top of front wrapper. Seller Inventory # 31205
