Book Description NY, Harper, 1860, stated 2nd edition, with original ills., dark brown embossed cloth hardcover, fair only with most of the backstrip missing (small piece laid in), internally the book is very good with sound tight uncracked inner hinges, rather bright with only occasional mild foxing, some moth specking to the cover extremities, very slight spine slant. Nice delicate line/cartoon illustrations that don't look very well on the scans but they are quite nice, nice old Southern Civil War era inscription/name on the free front endpaper ("Louise C. Harrison, Selma, August 1862, on our return from Carolina"), 4-1/2"x7-1/2", 214pp, huxx, raxx. Bookseller Inventory # 70360
