About this Item

Tight, bright, clean hardback in red cloth. Small pencil erasure size area with loss of color on spine. A pen mark on bottom pages that does not look like a remainder mark. Clean end pages and interior pages. Clipped dust jacket is in wonderful condition with only an indent that could have come from the publisher and that has to be felt more than it can be seen. Photographic angles that capture grand views and details of thirty three cathedrals in six countries. Full and half page in black and white and color. Ceilings, windows, doors, buttresses. With notes, bitliography, and index. Impressive. Author has added 400 new photographs to this addition. Includes an historical introduction by Christopher Brooks titled The Cathedral in Medieval Society. ; 4to; 328 pages. Bookseller Inventory # 1904

Store Description

Books, Maps, Prints, and More is an internet store for collectible, interesting, useful, and unusual books. Our books are mostly out-of-print and formerly owned. Some look new, others have some wear. When a book offered shows wear, we will attempt to describe the wear in some detail so that you may make your book buying decision with confidence. We welcome questions in advance of the purchase and can provide images if we have a window of time to take the image (if it doesn't already exist). We also operate a walk-in store at 4157 Grand Ave So in Minneapolis, MN, 55409.
