About this Item

An analysis of gambling from the point of view of a participant who believes it natural to man. Considers everything from dice through horseracing and casino gambling to playing the stock market. The front cover is in remarkably good condition with the gilded lettering only slightly worn and the gilded and stamped cameo-like design bright. Gilding on spine in very gold condition, although there is wear at the spine ends and fading at the back edge. Thankfully the back panel is at the back! It is mottled, most of the color gone from the action of some caustic agent. Foredges are bumped, but not really bad. Back hinge starting. The contents are quite clean and tight--no marks or tears and only an occasional, quite rare, spot of foxing. Photographs available. Bookseller Inventory # 6178
