Foxing. 13 color engravings. pp. iv, 29, [3], plus [8] advertisements for selected Field & Tuer titles. 18.5 x 14 cm. Early nineteenth century English children's game of command and response. Published as Volume ii of the Leadenhall Press Series of Forgotten Picture Books for Children. Originally published in 1823 by the London houses of Dean & Munday; and A. K. Newman & Co, The Minerva Press. This edition features a four page introduction by Andrew W. Tuer regarding the history of these presses.
