Also in the lower corner of this leaf is the embossed blind seal of a prior owner. The profusely illustrated contents (488 pp., 667 b&w illus., color illus. of over 320 crystal and gemstone treasures) are otherwise fine to like new. Laid-in is a related article by the author from the Lapidary Journal, May 1987. Excellent black cloth with gilt lettering and decoration on the spine and the upper board. The dust jacket, has light rubbing in some corners, and, at the head of the spine, rubbing, a couple of small closed tears, and a related crease or two. No remainder or ex-library markings!
