Octavo. vi, [4] leaves table of contents, pages 7-677. Brown calf leather binding with leather title label on the spine. Leather rubbed on the edges. Thin vertical crack on the spine. A small split upper front joint. Edge wear head and base of the spine. Headband top of spine loose. Light wear to both covers. The front and rear end sheets were removed. Moderate toning to the text. Last page was partly stuck to the rear paste down with minute loss of a couple of letters. The author (1621-1704) was an early New England historian. Fair. Howes H 754 "First printing of the original manuscript.".
