Sedum is a large genus of flowering plants in the family Crassulaceae, members of which are commonly known as stonecrops. The genus has been described as containing up to 600 species of leaf succulents that are found throughout the Northern Hemisphere, varying from annual and creeping herbs to shrubs. The plants have water-storing leaves. The flowers usually have five petals, seldom four or six. There are typically twice as many stamens as petals (from Wiki). This massive monograph on Sedum is very well illustrated with 240 full-page black-and-photos of botanical specimens from herbariums and 3,477 small line-drawings of flowers or leaf formations. No ownership marks. Mild watermark in the far outer margin of the index only of Part 4 - it never extends into the text; the binding and remainder of the text is very bright and clean; overall a near fine copy.
