Description:

Well bound in gilt-decorated, black morocco, with a gilt decorated spine in 6 compartments. The covers are very well attached without any cracking. Very slight nick to the top of the spine and to one corner, else very good, unworn edges. Contains 60 engraved scenes, with an additional engraved title page, plus a vignette of the Augartin in Vienna. The scenes' descriptions are in English and in French. Many of the scenes are of Vienna, Salzburg, and Nuremburg. The pages and the scenes are very clean and crisp, with very little foxing. The title page date is either 1823 or 1825. All edges gilt. Early owner's bookplate. Size: 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Bookseller Inventory #
