Fritz Reiche (1883-1969) war ein theoretischer Physiker, der ab 1941 in den USA lebte und arbeitete. Er studierte zuerst in M�nchen bei Adolf von Beyer und Wilhelm R�ntgen und anschlie�end bei Max Planck in Berlin, wo er 1907 promovierte. 1946 wurde Reiche Professor an der New York University, wo er Theoretische Physik, Wellenmechanik und Thermodynamik unterichtete. Von der NASA und der US Navy wurde er mit besonderen Forschungsprojekten zur �berschallstr�mung betraut. Laut Robert Jungk in seinem BUch "Heller als tausend Sonnen", spielte Reiche eine Rolle in der Geschichte der Atombombombe (�berbringung einer geheimen Nachricht an Physiker in den USA). Dies ist jedoch umstritten.
