Inscribed "For Pat Klotz, Best Wishes" and boldly signed and dated "7/10/96" by Peter Duchin on right FEP. Copyright page states "First Edition" at bottom with number line "9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2" notating Second Printing. Book is in FINE condition with black paper boards with small letters "PD" stamped in black on top center of front board over black cloth binding with gilt lettering. Book's spine tips and corners are true with binding and insides tight, bright, clean and unmarked. NO previous owner's or library markings. DW is covered by Brodart with price point still intact in NEAR FINE condition. DW has glossy white cover with bold red and black lettering above and below black and white photo of Duchin at the St. Regis in the early sixties. DW's corners are true with spine tips gently bumped and (1") faded ink mark at top of front cover in middle otherwise DW is also in Fine condition. The life and times of Society band leader Peter Duchin, the son of bandleader Eddy Duchin, who formed his own popular band and performed for, and socialized with the cream of the society and entertainment worlds.
