A collection of essays on the art, primarily frescoes, of Giotto the Italian painter and architect, one of the first of influential artists of the Italian Renaissance. With chapters on Giotto's school, Taddeo Gaddi, Bernardo Daddi, Jacopo dal Casentino, Maso-Giottino, Andrea Orcagna, Nardo di Cione, and Jacopo di Cione. GOOD condition. General fading, minor soiling, a few dark scuffs and minor stains to the covers. Spine browned. Light bumping and scuffing to the extremities. Minor foxing to the page edges.
