Original red cloth with gilt lettering on front cover. 5 X 8 inches. 320 pages. Copy is in a yellow illustrated dust jacket with white lettering and a color illustration on the front cover. Dust jacket is protected in mylar. White and black lettering on spine. du Maurier (1907-1989) was a British author and playwright. Many of her novels have been adapted into films. Three of which have been produced by Alfred Hitchcock. This novel is about the Bussons, the author's forbears, before and during the French Revolution. Both copy and dust jacket are clean.
