First Printing. (Stated). Scarce: Only 5,000 copies printed. Very good minus in green-bluish cloth stamped brightly in gilt on the spine. An ex-library copy with new endpapers, bleached tape marks to the top and bottom of the front and rear panels. With a library stamp at the bottom of the title page and some light staining to the bottoms of pp. 24-25, not affecting text. In a complete, attractive dustjacket printed in red and blue with glass horse figures on the front panel. There are a few light stress marks to the top of the front panel, the result of Brodart bunching; also some very light tape residue to the corners of the jacket. With $2.00 price on the inside front flap. Several tiny chips at the bottom of the rear panel. First Printing. (Stated). Bookseller Inventory # 3723
