Folio (27.5 x 21.5cm). This commentary on the Psalms by the celebrated Spanish Dominican Cardinal was published a number of times in the 15th C, including three editions in the 1470s printed at Mayence by Peter Schoeffer, the apprentice of Guttenburg. 92ff. including the final blank. Text in double columns, 47 lines. A couple of contemporary marginal annotations, one small area of text on S2 left uninked by the printer & affecting only a handful of letters on the lower three lines, small inkstain to outer margin of title & half a dozen leaves with very light outer margin damp-stains. Otherwise a fresh & clean copy bound in 17th or 18th C full vellum, later endpapers. [HC 15707; BMC (15th C) I, 136; Polain 3862; Proctor 614; Goff T-532].
