Red cloth binding with color pictorial paste-on with uneven fading to the cloth and slight wear to the paste-on for what is a very nice clean copy of the book. Pictorial front endpapers signed and dated by the author, H. S. Wittmaak, in the year of publication. Rear endpapers have printed the words and music for the song "Under The Lolly Pop Tree" by Johnny Jump-Up. Rear hinge starting but still holding tight. Two hundred and eighty-seven numbered pages plus two pages of ads for this fantasy adventure that originated from tales the author told his young daughter. The book is profusely illustrated throughout by Vogele & Zefers with black and white drawings, both full page and within text, plus eight full page color illustrations in what is called the "Colored Picture Gallery in the Gobbly Wobblyn's Palace as visited by Dolly and Johnny in The Town Of Tots". Now that is a title! The book is clean throughout and is still tightly bound for a special copy of this rare book rarely found signed. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD. Signed by Author(s).
