About this title

Synopsis:

140 uears later, slavery is alive and well in the U.S. If you think slavery was abolished in 1865, this novel will jolt you back to reality. Nearly 30 million human beings are being held as slaves, mainly sold as sexual victims around the world today. Fully half are children, sold into prostitution or to pedophiles. These numbers swell by nearly one million more captives every year...and many will find their way into the U.S. ´ Ripped from today’s headlines, author Ulf Mörling’s thriller unmasks the horror of the global slave trafficking epidemic. One outraged, death driven, former NYPD detective tracks down the monsters behind the depravity, and comes face to face with the female mastermind at the heart of a web of pure evil. Deceit, passion, violence, heroism and true love punctuate this novel, and even as it storms to its conclusion, the reader is left wondering whether Carlson’s efforts and sacrifices have all been worthwhile - or whether the genius behind the global slave trade will escape death row to continue to rule her global criminal empire. But there is more. The Author makes a sensational promise no one ever has done before. When you own this book you may think of any word in it (close to 90,000 words!) and Ulf Mörling will tell you what word you are thinking of! See instructions on page........
