About this Item

48 pages with dustwrapper over light gray semi-stiff card covers. The poet worked for the BBC in the 1940's served in the war, opened a bookshop in London from 1950-63, read poetry at Harvard in the late 60's. He was also editor of 2 poetry magazines in the 1950's. Born in 1921.

We are a small, single-owner business. We have been operating on and off since 1977 and our stock is varied, leaning towards antiquarian and 19th century with the addition of original aquatint and lithographic, or woodcut engravings. Also maps and Ephemera - in fact, anything interesting on paper really. We have in stock every item we list. We do not use stock photographs, but photograph each item individually. We very rarely use "fine" or "mint" as a description, mainly due to the age and the fact that 99.9% of what we sell has been pre-owned and therefor Fine would not be a term for a book we sell despite its fine-like appearance. We always take items back unreservedly if not in the condition as described. We always try to describe fully.
