The printing history on the copyright page ends with October, 1936 (seven times). This hardcover book is square and tight, with the front gutter cracked. The boards and spine have only minor wear, primarily to the points, edges and ends of the spine. The lettering is legible, but with spots and darkening within expected levels. The cloth of the upper spine has a 1/2 inch cut neatly between the "G" and "o" of "Gone". The pages and endpages are clean, with no markings or folds. There is a prior owner signature on the free end page dated January 1937. Not ex-lib. No remainder mark. Bookseller Inventory # 002303
