About the Author: Thomas R. Dilley, a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, lives with his wife, daughter, and basset hound, and works as a trial lawyer. For more than 40 years, he has had a passion for the history of the area, collecting postcards, trade

cards, books, photographs, and other materials which chronicle the history and development of his home town.
