About the Author:

George B. Robinson lives in Bozeman, Montana with his wife Kae and their -- miniature schnauzer Wookie and basenjis Webster and Wema. Prior to his retirement in 1991, George served for 10 years as Chief of the Interpretation at Yellowstone National Park. During his 32 years National Park Service career, George served in many areas including Everglades and Wind Cave national parks, He was one of the first professional interpretive planners stationed at Harpers Ferry Center in West Virginia. In that capacity, George was involved in developing interpretive plans for several new and existing units of the National Park System, among them, Crater Lake, Mammoth Caves and North Casades national parks, Gulf islands national Seashore, and Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. Early in his career, George worked in Glacier,Sequoia--Kings Canyon and Lassen national parks.
