HB book in VG condition. Fourth impression; illustrated by George Varian. Bright yellow boards are printed with a black illustration. Sturdy, clean and undamaged, with very faint staining along upper edge. Spine has faded slightly and has slight bumps to head and foot. Upper page edges are dust soiled and lightly foxed. Binding tight and as new. Nicely illustrated maps on endpages with only faint yellowing. Interior pages bright and undamaged. DJ in G- condition is manila-colored paper printed in black. DJ has tanned on spine and along folds. Upper edge has rolled and has three separate .25" tears, one on central front panel, one at front hinge and one at upper back hinge. Lower edge has .25" tears on both panel folds. DJ spine has a .5" water stain near lower edge and is printed with original $2.00 price. DJ wrapped in protective mylar cover. Nice copy.
