About this Item

Lovely drab green cloth boards, lettered in black. The first children's book from an author who hardly became prolific: I can find only one other book by her, published in 1981 and titled "Addie's Year". This "Toozy" story seems like an enjoyable romp, set in the 1920s, about an eccentric, fun-loving family who move into a small town neighborhood and shake things up a bit for the residents. This is a fine copy apart the most minor of softening to top of spine, and a pin-head sized ding to rear board. Dust jacket (with great cover art by Robert Andrew Parker) is very good with slight edgewear and two internally repaired closed tears at top of rear spine fold and rear flap fold. Really nice copy.
