About this title

To an outsider, the university student's hedonistic lifestyle can seem like an enviable one. But right now, Cambridge student Danny Thorn can see little to be jealous of. Danny's got woman troubles—his ex, Julie, won't leave him alone, and the beguiling Stella is disinterested. But as the term plays out, these will be the least of Danny's worries...Academics are locked in a battle over departmental closures. A rapist, who's been preying on female students for months, is still at large. And a potentially lethal case of jealousy is about to rear its head. As events begin to take ever more bizarre and shocking turns, Rosa Thorn, Danny's mother, arrives in Cambridge. Here to film a TV series and to see her son, she instead finds herself desperately trying to restore some sort of order. But she could never be prepared for just how terrifyingly out of control things are about to get.
