16mo. Color pictorial paper over boards. 150pp. Very good. Mild edgewear. Title translation: "Guide for Artesans: Book of the most commonly used documents of daily life, together with 240 letter samples to aid children in the reading of handwriting, so useful for all people." Tight, nice copy of this lovely little volume, which sought to teach Spanish youth how to read business correspondence in the wide variety of typical handwritings in vogue in Spain at that time. The entire text, beginning to end, consists of facsimiles of various mostly-ornate handwriting styles -- some quite elaborate. The front cover graphic depicts a melange of agricultural and woodworking tools. Likely the sole printing. Unusual, scarce and beautiful. Bookseller Inventory # 35713
