Officially withdrawn from Carleton College. Both copies have the call card information with the Withdrawn Stamp on along wiht residue from checkout slip having been remove from front pastedowns. On front free endpapers there is offsetting on the from these. Both copies have blindstampin of college and a ink stamped number on title pages. A glimpse into the archives in Russia concerning diplomatic relations and correspondences before the Revolution volume one was researched in 1913 published in 1917 the first five pages discuss the "Conditions of Study", "The Russian Archives", "The Archaeographical Expedition and the Archaeographical Commission" and "Learned Societies".Before each listing of what a particular archives holds is description of the archive and when it was founded.
