About the Author: Francis X. Clifton, Ph.D. is the founder and director of the Faran Center in New York City. The organization is dedicated to the teaching and use of mental imagery in the fields of psychoneuroimmunology and the psychotherapeutic process. His background includes over twenty-five years of experience in the practice of psychotherapy, imagery, and dream understanding.
Dr. Clifton was also a co-founder of the American Center for Mental Imagery, and was one of the founding Directors of the Center for Intentional Living. He is a graduate of The National Institute for the Psychotherapies in NYC, and also trained at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center and the Tavistock Institute in London.
