The principles of Chinese diagnosis and treatment as they pertain to the female system are explained and discussed. This includes common conditions such as: A. Abnormal menstruation, leucorrhea, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, menopause, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and uterine bleeding. B. Pregnancy disorders: Morning sickness, abdominal pain and vaginal bleeding during pregnancy. C. Post-partum diseases: Abdominal pain, constipation, lactation deficiency, lochia and infertility. Other common conditions are also explained.

About the Author:

Robert Tran received M.S degrees in Computer Information System from the University of Phoenix, San Jose, California. He has been studying Chinese Medicine since 2007. Currently, he is a graduate student at the University of East West Medicine in Sunnyvale, California. He will complete the Master of Science degree program in Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) at the end of 2011. The Master of Science in T.C.M. program's curriculum is designed with a solid foundation in T.C.M. Theory and Diagnosis, Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs and Herbal Formulas, Tuina, Acupressure, Tai Ji Quan and Qigong, and advanced studies such as Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine, T.C.M. Pediatrics, T.C.M. Gynecology, T.C.M. Traumatology, and T.C.M. External Medicine. The four Chinese medical classics: Huang Di Nei Jing, Shang Han Lun, Jin Kui Yao Lue and Wen Bing are also taught during the final year.
