About the Author:

A. Keith Turner is the President and CEO of TurnGroup Technologies, LLC, a company that he founded in April of 2002. Keith leads a small staff at TurnGroup Technologies, which is an information technology consulting firm that focuses on providing cost-effective technology solutions to small corporations, municipalities and nonprofits. TurnGroup Technologies provides the following services: Computer Networking, Technical Support, Website Design and Database Development. TurnGroup was recognized in 2004 and awarded the Emerging Business of the Year Award by the St. Louis American, Regional Commerce and Growth Association, and the Urban League of St. Louis. With a small staff, Keith directs and manages H is for Hope, a sister company to TurnGroup that focuses on the publication of computer graphics-generated self-help books expressly for children and families. H is for Hope is a book series that was created to encourage and inspire children to excel at self-reliance and community stewardship through becoming responsible and respectful people where they live. These books are designed to address head-on the issues of self-improvement, self-care and collective community responsibility while being accessible and attractive to young readers and their family members. H is for Hygiene, the first book in the series, was recently published by H is for Hope, and is available now at bookstores and at our website. Keith was raised in St. Louis, and returned after he graduated Cum Laude from Morehouse College in 1995. Since his return to St. Louis, Keith received the 2006 Entrepreneur of the Year award from the Urban League Young Professionals. He has also received other various awards for community service and activism. Civic responsibility and community stewardship rank first among Keith s ideals and objectives, and serve as primary anchors for his developing business interests. Keith is the former President of the Morehouse College Alumni Association ~ St. Louis Chapter; he is a Board Member for the Bakari Institute; he is a Board Member for the Accra Foundation for Intercultural Communication and Awareness (AFRICA); he is a dedicated volunteer and supporter of St. Paul Saturdays, a manhood development, leadership and mentoring organization focused on improving the quality of life for young African-American males in Metropolitan St. Louis.
