Texas history as well as the history of the bottle opener type spur. It includes a full biography of the Texas spur maker, Joe Bianchi.

About the Author:

I buy, sell and appraise antique arms and all kinds of western memorabilia. I have published 6 books on related subjects from archeology (abd on PhD) to antique arms and natural history. I am a Life Member and Director of the Colt Collectors Association and the current Publications Chairman. I am a Life Member also of the NRA, Texas Gun Collectors Association (Past President) and the National Bit, Spur and Saddle Collectors Association where I am also currently on the Board of Directors and Director of the Former Texas Ranger Foundation. I also buy, sell and appraise Western Americana such as holsters, spurs, saddles, chaps, badges, photos, etc. I personally founded the American Fan Collectors Association in 1980 and we also publish a quarterly magazine.
