This is an original, complete issue of 16 pages dated December 30, 1882 -- Vol. 26, No. 1358 -- Profusely illustrated with wood cut engravings -- Covers are tight, small tear on bottom of page 831, very small piece missing from bottom corner of last eight pages, no engravings or text missing, otherwise very nice condition -- The Front Cover has a full page engraving by W. A. Rogers titled "New Year 1883" (ringing in the new year, with poem) -- Page 832 has a full page engraving by P. Frenzeny titled "The Shipment Of Mules From New York" -- Page 833 has a large engraving by Thomas Nast titled "Before Beginning The New Year Give A Thought To Janus" -- Page 836 has a full page engraving by J. O. Davidson titled "The Erie Grain Elevator" -- Page 837 has a full page engraving by T. R. Davis titled "View Of The City Of Milwaukee" -- Page 841 has three engravings, titled as follows: "The Prince Of Arisugawa", "The Minister From Japan", and the third by J. A. S. Monks titled "The Menhaden Fishfry" -- This issue contains a portion of the following serials: "Frescoes" by Ouida, Part I, and "The Hands Of Justice" by F. W.
