Dispatch off Assateague Island, Virginai, with a half-page drawing by F.B. Schell; an illustrated article covering the life of the late Charles Stewart Parnell. There is an illustrated story by Rudyard Kipling "Brugglesmith". Gilmer Speed wrote an article "What the Government is Doing for the Farmer"; Part VII of the serialized novel The Jonah of Lucky Valley" by Howard Seely, illustrated by Frederic Remington. There is a short article on "The Veiled Prophet" pageant in St. Louis, illustrated with a full page of drawings. There is a full page illustration along with a short article on "The Unveiling of the Grant Monument at Lincoln Park, Chicago" drawn by W.A. Rogers after a photograph by Taylor. Political cartoons and advertisements are also included. Folio. Disbound issue so the spine edge is a little ragged but intact, the interior is clean and unmarked, small narrow mailing sticker on upper portion of front cover. Overall a fine softcover periodical.
